It is a quite gorgeous glimpse, Alan.
Alan: My home county. The river Bourne (more like a stream) flows into the river Test, the latter being one of the finest trout streams in the U.K.
very nicely framed, Alan. and i like the rich colours too.
What a beautiful POV, Alan!
Alan: Thanks, Elizabeth. We had been walking in the woods for a while when suddenly we came across this view. This is my home county. The river Bourne (more like a stream) flows into the river Test, the latter being one of the finest trout streams in the UK.

A delightful view smile
Alan: We had been walking in the woods for a while when suddenly we came across this view. I liked the way the owner had mown the grass to the gates.

A pleasing opening through the trees to a lovely pastoral scene Alan. It's as green as you can get, must have had some rain.
Alan: One reason I love England. Th rich variety of scenery which is occasionally washed to keep it pristine.

This is my England, the "green and pleasant land". A classical composition.
Alan: As much as i enjoy some parts of the US, I do miss England beautiful scenery. I was reading details of this Sunday's bike ride and it made me feel just slightly homesick. Thanks, Philine.
Some fine English countryside round your way Alan. We have fine countryside round my part of Leicestershire but I'm too far away from my home county of Hertfordshire to be able to photograph some of the lovely parts of that tese days.
Alan: One reason I love England, Brian. I always enjoy my first view of the English countryside as I fly back home.
"Green, green, it's green they say, on the far side of the hill." A song was written about views like this.
Alan: One reason I love England, Mary; we do have some glorious scenery.

Yes, I can well understand you - I have already booked a garden trip through Kent in the following May - and I'll come to Chris' birthday.
Extremely pleasing Alan
