No. 7

Chesterfield Corporation Tramwway's No. 7 is one of twelve built by Brush for use in Chesterfield, originally an open-topper. It is a tram with many great escapes, being found as a cottage. Restored in the 1990s.

What a beauty!
Alan: When you see some of the photos before restoration, it makes you realise just how much work has gone into this.

Il est ancien mais a beaucoup de charme.
Alan: We should not have got rid of our tram systems but simply update them over the years.
What a great thing!
Alan: We should not have got rid of our tram systems but simply update them over the years. Some cities have re-introduced them at huge expense and, of course, Frank;s home town never got rid of them completely.

How pleasing it's come back to life as a tram rather than as it had become in the '90s

brilliant shot of this good looking vehicle, Alan. double decker trams are a rarity for me.
Great looking tram isn't it. I don't recognise the background, is this Crich or somewhere else?
Alan: Yes, this is Crich at the town terminus. The waiting shelter is just off to the right and the old Assembly Rooms building is behind me..
A lovely machine...
Is this at Crich? A handsome tram
