Seaside

Sitting at the seaside in Seaside, Oregon. The mist took most of the day to burn off.

Was it just me or was Shutterchance so very slow yesterday?

Nice composition in the fog... SC seemed normal to me.
Alan: Thanks, Larry. I was good to get to the coast after the smoke hanging over Portland.

Interesting atmospherics.

It was just you...in a hurry!
Alan: I've got no time to hang around.; it's valuable cake and cycling time. I'm still waiting for the free time I was expecting when I retired; it hasn't happened yet sad
Love this, Alan! How great!
Well, since you all are on SC while I'm snuggled up in my bed with two cats purring away... I didn't notice!
Alan: Hahah!! You paint a lovely image with you and the cats. I hope they still have enough room when Frank is back?

My Shutterchance was very slow, too - I kept coming out and going in again, but it didn't help
Alan: Thanks, Lisl. It did buck up later in the day; it was working quite well when I was fiddling around with the computers in John Lewis.

Seuls au monde...
Alan: Certainly in the own little world. Thanks, Martine.

Definitely low cloud there, we get the same in Bath often at this time of year

Yes Shutterchance was slow yesterday, I used Chrome to speed it up from my usual leisurely Windows
Alan: It did buck up later in the day; it was working quite well when I was fiddling around with the computers in John Lewis. I did not think to try Chrome.

I love the misty atmosphere at the seaside (due to the fire in the forests?)- the name of this town is very original - we could be in England, too - yes, I noticed SC to be very slow yesterday!
Alan: No, this part of the coast was free from the effects of the forest fires. Mist is quite common at times on the coast as the sea is quite cold yet the land air is quite warm. By the time I'd have coffee (and muffin [which they call a scone]) and then driven the 15 miles to cannon Beach, it had gone. Thanks, Philine.

Is he explaining to her that she does not need to wear her sunglasses.
Alan: Hahah! Could be.
It......was.....you
Alan: An accusing look?
Our autumn weather has descended. Nor I will look longingly at those on the beach.
Alan: The autumn weather is good for me; often better light with less haze.
I felt SC was a bit slow yesterday also. I thought for a moment this was the beach at Criccieth.
Alan: At least the Welsh did not call Criccieth Sunshine (shame as I can spell Sunshine smile )
