Borth

Early evening at Borth, mid-Wales. I was hoping for a decent sunset but the bank of cloud prevented that.

Pas très confortable la plage de galets.
Alan: It's better to walk on with bare feet than the smaller shingle.

There is only a touch of golden sunset lighting some houses - but what a stony beach! I saw such stony bays also in North- Ireland.
Alan: It's funny but just three miles to the north is a huge big sandy beach. I expect that it would be good to watch winter storms from the houses. Thanks, Philine.

I think your bank of cloud enhances the picture, Alan
Alan: Thanks, Lisl. It was the light on the stones that attracted me to the scene.
Magnifique prise de vue ...Merci
Alan: The Welsh coastline is wonderful.

A fine evening despite the cloud. I do like the pebbles in the foreground.
Alan: I think it was in Aberearon where they were signs telling people not to take the pebbles.
Still a very pleasant picture Alan.
Alan: Thanks, Brian. I was attracted by the light on the pebbles.
Love the large capes here. Nice place to walk and to see all the pebbles.
Alan: The Welsh coast is a delight.
Really like how you've composed this shot, Alan.
