This is a fabulous angle to lead up to the Fell Alan... the stones on this bridge have been well worn over the years by all those who have crossed it....peter

Good to have a railing at one side while crossing this very old bridge and its worn out steps -the stones are drystones? "and about the cross the bridge" (Sorry, I stumbled a bit over these words - but it doesn't matter - I know y o u will come forward proceeding with firm steps!) A finely framed photo and the weather is superb in the Lakes I could experience, too!
