It is a beautiful thing, Alan, with its invisible roof an its all-welcoming windows.
It must have been grand in its day Alan... it is strange how parts of the church were used to build a fort... you have framed the ruins of this Cathedral very well....petersmile

Love the colour of the stonework: and I see the clocks still have a roof over their gubbins - and it looks as if they're still working
I am quite familiar with red sandstone since I am sitting on it. Quite a few of our churches are made of sandstone. This church looks so strange with no roof.
The sandstone is a glorious colour. This must have been a handsome little cathedral
Still a fine looking building and lovely colour stone. Nice gate at the back of the picture.
I see that that guy from above decided on route one.
No doubt a wonderful place, at one time.. even now!
