Cracking shot Alan, I took it from the other side, yours is better though.
Alan: So much scope for photos here; I've got one from the other side, too, taken at sunset.

Wonderfullll..place and picture!
Alan: So many arches; alas some gone since my first visit.
Que c'est beau ! Jolie lumière.
Alan: It was worth getting up early for it.
Oh gosh - well worth the effort, Alan- this is spectacular!
Alan: Thanks, Elizabeth. It was 30 minute drive from where I was staying and then another 20 minutes to get into position and wait for sunrise but, as you say, worth the effort.

You mean you didn't get a hungry scorpion running up your leg and into your shorts!

Ahem! I thing this is a wonderful image
Alan: No - thankfully! I'm still traumatised after having a squirrel run up my shorts when I was in Switzerland many, many years ago.
Your heroic struggle was well rewarded Alan
Alan: Thanks, Bill. I was happy with the result.

Super-doop. Like a child’s modelling with clay.
Alan: Haha! Yes, it does look a bit like that.
Excellent shot of this iconic site.
Alan: Thanks, Mary; I was pleased with the result.
Terrific image Alan, the morning light almost has a luminance to it.
Alan: It was well worth getting up seemingly in the middle of the night for this. I must have been keen then smile
