Joli coin pour se promener.
Alan: It was beautiful.
Wonderful view Alan, what a place.
Alan: I'm sure you've been up there several times yourself.
I love the crazy formations of the limbs of these trees... and, of course, the colors are gorgeous!
Alan: Thanks, Eelizabeth. The trees looked wonderful in these colours.

Very colourful and nice. But isn't the place starting to get a little crowded for you?
Alan: Well, I can just about cope with those crowds. It's unusual to see a lady walking out on her own - sadly.
A well chosen set of colors...
Alan: Aren't they glorious!
Wouah , quel bel endroit !
Alan: All so full of beauty.

Did your new girlfriend go in ahead?
Alan: Fortunately nothing to do with me; she was on her own.

This is making me feel er restless, Alan, with even rain more forecast and confined to barracks
Alan: Confined to barracks by choice? Or a mishap? (Not the latter, I hope!). Most of our recent bike rides have been wet. Tomorrow's will different, though - it will be wet AND windy sad

The Lake District in autumn must be really wonderful - I love the larch trees and the violett colours of the heather on the hills - in the Erzgebirge where I have been is especially fir forest. Do I see Ms. Tripod- Carrier in front of you?
Alan: It was a particular joy this year, despite having mainly gloomy weather. Hopefully, you've had some fine colours, too. The lady was a stranger; Miss Tripod Carrier and I will be enjoying Handel's "Messiah" next week. Thanks, Philine!
No 1 The Larch...The Larch
Alan: Doh! I forgotten that; I had to Google your reference.
Larch translates into pure gold without the sun and lit yellow-gold in the sunshine. These in particular have wonderful curves to their bones.
Alan: Aren't they beautiful!
Quite a colour blast!
Alan: The Lake District looked even more splendid that it does normally.
the larch trees are about to lose their needles Alan... ours have fallen two weeks ago....petersmile
Alan: We're having a very mild autumn and I think winter will carryon the same way. Nature is all over the place as a result.
Your fine pictures of this walk make me wish I was still fit enough to be able to do the walk for myself.
Alan: I've still not recovered from my fall down the inspection pit in August so my walks are limited. I've just been limping around the lounge ad=fter several hours on my feet in Bournemouth today sad
I love the touch of blue (in the backpack) contrasting with the autumn colours.
